The Weird Canadian is a Canadian Podcaster that focuses on many news related issues and topics going against the status-quo. The topics talked about range from tariffs placed on foreign films to the elevation of A.I. and how it will effect the future of the world. His brand is also majorly focused on ‘keeping it real’ and speaking his mind about how things are even when it comes to really political or controversial topics.

What I do for The Weird Canadian is edit his raw footage into entertaining and engaging podcasts to relay his messages and help increase his community. Most of what I do is add b-roll, cut out ‘dead space’ and filler words (i.e. um, uh, etc.), subtitles during b-roll footage, and add specific edits depending on the topics at hand.
Some softwares I use for editing vary from Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas, and even Capcut depending on the intensity of the edits.
